What Our People Have to Say

We are grateful for every athlete, parent, coach, and person that benefits from our program.

Thank you.

“Reggie Walker has always brought a different thought process and different dialogue with him from California. As a Freshman at KSU on the football team, I had the opportunity to be around him and help him become the best that he could be. He was different in the way he talked and approached situations. I feel as though Reggie is a critical thinker and observer. I know that is what sets him apart as a player because he applied those same principles as a player, and he was a great player, to say the least. I know he will be great at getting the projects he’s working on done. That persistent approach is who he is as a person. There’s nothing that will stop him from achieving his goals. I’ve seen him repeatedly do great things in life because, in his mind, there is an answer, and if there isn’t, he will do the hard part, which is figure out a way to make it happen. I’ve known Reggie for almost 20 years, and he takes the same approach to every situation. What’s the problem? How do we do what they say can’t be done as far as helping the next generation? And then put a plan together to execute a critical and precise game plan. Reggie has used this method repeatedly, and I’m with him because I understand who he is and why he is the way he is. I’ve always respected and appreciated him for that. He came from a similar background, growing up in poverty-stricken places. That toughness that he needs to get answers and help others, along with his outside-the-box thinking, is something that I’ve always admired about him. He has my full endorsement on the problems he wants to help solve and anything I can do to assist him, I would always be there to help in any way possible. “

Hamza Abdullah • Believer, Author, Filmmaker, and 7 Year NFL Veteran

“Reggie has been a guiding light and lifeguard for me as I navigated the deep seas of Mental Health. He has been open with me about his past traumas, his struggles, and his healing path. That vulnerability has helped me on this arduous journey of self-enlightenment. God willing, I look forward to learning more about Reggie’s curriculum and how many lives are positively impacted by Reggie’s candor and commitment to helping others heal. Thank you, Reggie, for all that you have done for me and my family. Thank you for being a leader at a time when qualified leadership is needed. Thank you for living your purpose. Because by living your purpose, you inspire me to live mine. Peace and be blessed.”

"In a time where sports has been so many people’s “way out,” it is very important to have a healthy view of one's goals outside of sports. If, due to an injury or age, the time comes to transition, it can be devastating. From the first day I met Reggie, I knew without a doubt he was passionate about helping other Athletes transition from the world of sports into a healthy and constructive lifestyle outside of sports. By experiencing the difficulties himself after leaving the NFL and professional sports, he understands the need to have a healthy exit, which so many Athletes do not. The type of work Reggie is doing now is long overdue. I am excited to see all the Athletes that will benefit from his experience and the program he is putting together."

To whom it may concern:

I have known Reggie Walker for over a decade. We began as friends of friends and developed into a genuine one-on-one friendship. I have seen him grow as a man with a high moral compass and a father who will do anything for his children. His family has become my family since I hired his brother on my coaching staff without even meeting him. That is the type of trust and respect that I have for Reggie and his judgment of others character. He is a true leader and someone I have great respect for as a man.

“I met Reggie Walker at the NFL Broadcast Boot Camp in 2018, where I taught reporting and interviewing skills. Reggie shared with me the childhood trauma he endured and his deep desire to use his experience to help others. Since he’s a former NFL player, Reggie naturally thought he could make a meaningful impact with athletes. One of his motives for coming to work with me privately was to improve his media and communication skills. Along with that, I was drawn to work with Reggie because I knew he could make a difference in the sports world. I

was inspired by Reggie's passion to share his journey and use his unfortunate childhood circumstances to help others. I know he'll make a difference in the lives of many athletes, which will improve their lives and performance on and off the field."

To whom it may concern:

I am writing regarding my experience working with Reggie over the past several years with my national organization, SafeBAE. He has been on our speakers’ bureau for 2 years now and has made multiple appearances on behalf of our organization. He is one of the more prolific and inspiring speakers I have worked with in the 20 years I have been in the sexual violence prevention field. He is truly vulnerable, kind, and incredibly generous with all of the people who have attended his sessions or workshops, and his style of reaching younger people is exceedingly genuine, relatable, and down to earth. I would recommend him for any type of work where he can utilize his experiences in helping young people learn and bridge the gap that many young athletes have in speaking openly and vulnerably about overcoming obstacles in life.
